JENNIFER AMES-KARREMAN

 Jennifer is the CEO and founder of Human Sky consulting - a team of collaborators committed to helping people discover what unique elements drive or detract from human engagement and vitality in organizations, teams and individuals. Overall, she's known for being an inclusive leader that works well with diverse groups globally.

Jennifer, a veteran partner of Starbucks for 28 years started on the front lines in the stores in 1986. Her career highlights include significant contributions toward the start-up of Starbucks retail business and non-retail businesses, creating a more customer focused culture, growth initiatives and communications of Starbucks values and business practices. She was part of the team that crafted Starbucks mission and principles early on and has led projects that span 42 countries - most notably The Green Apron Book and tools. Designing and conducting cultural immersions for key executives and new business partners also gives her unique insight to different perspectives on engagement opportunities globally across companies. She has also conducted several Ethnographic Studies and has learned first hand what is at the core of employee and customer engagement. Additionally, she documented Starbucks Historical Leadership Journey from 1971-2014 and provided key theories on why things worked, didn't work, and what the next steps could be.

Drawing from all her experiences and knowledge Jennifer's passion is helping companies of all sizes and groups better understand why people choose to be engaged with their work, teams, customers, and organizations all the while truly discovering the unique power of human engagement and disengagement.
